Dennis "Buck" Bukowski is an assistant district attorney in Los Angeles, California, and former rival to Jennifer Walters.
History[]
A criminal prosecutor, Buck was assigned to the Lou Monkton case where he clashed with defense lawyer Jennifer Walters. He proved to be obnoxious as he gloated each time he got one over on Walters, and had a bit of a mean streak.
While Buck was driving his sports car around the city, he saw Walters's car heading straight for him. At first, he thought Walters was out for revenge for his win earlier that day. However, he quickly noticed that the vehicle was being chased by She-Hulk. Unbeknownst to Buck, She-Hulk was trying to save her best friend, Jill Stevens, who was driving Jennifer's sabotaged car. Wishing to be a hero, Buck followed close behind. When She-Hulk attempted to stop the car and save her friend's life, Buck drove into She-Hulk. This resulted in the death of Jill Stevens, though Buck believed it to be Jennifer Walters. He accused She-Hulk of murdering the young woman.
Buck continued to be a thorn in both Jennifer's and She-Hulk's sides throughout her career.
