Synopsis[]

"Deconstructed, Part Two"[]

Jennifer Walters speaks to her assistant Bradley on the phone while getting breakfast at a cafe. She is working quickly on Maise Brewn's eviction case, and her first step is to speak to her landlord, Mr. Tick. She arrives at the apartment complex and discovers that Mr. Tick is an obnoxious misogynist and calmly tells him that she'll see him in court as Maise had done nothing wrong.

Later, in Central Park, Jen overhears a group of kids pretending that the Hulk was chasing them. This triggers Jen into an anxiety attack until Florida Mayers arrives and greets Jen. Jennifer angrily tells Flo to leave her alone, then leaves. Back at the office, Jen continues her anxiety attack and attempts to calm herself by watching the cooking show on her cell phone.

Meanwhile, Maise Brewn is confronted by Mr. Tick, but she refuses to open the door. She tries getting in touch with Jen, but to no avail. Tick threatens that he's going to get a bulldozer to get her stuff out of his building. She asks the shadows in her home if they'll protect her, to which they reply, "Yes."

At the office, Bradley slips a candy bar under Jennifer's door. She had locked herself away in her office the entire day. She thanks Bradley, then confesses that she broke a few items. "I'll take care of it tomorrow. You should go home," says Bradley. The pair walk out to the elevator together, and Bradley reveals his brother died a year ago, so he understands what Jen is going through. He also comes out to Jen as gay. As Jennifer walks home, she feels she is being followed. Elsewhere, Mr. Tick screams at someone on the phone. Suddenly, Mr. Tick is attacked and smashed into the concrete.
