History[]
Son of a wealthy industrialist, Tony Stark's genius intellect allowed him to excel at inventing new projects. One such project was a super-powered suit of armor, which Stark used in combat. He took the name Iron Man, and pledged to use his suit for the good of mankind.
Iron Man first encountered She-Hulk when he was informed of his employee Jake Fox's disappearance by his widow, Mrs. Fox. Sheriff Morris Walters showed Iron Man a photograph of She-Hulk attacking Jake Fox, which led Iron Man to believe that she murdered him. Soon after, Jennifer Walters approached Iron Man, revealing that she's prosecuting a case against Tony Stark. After becoming flustered, Jennifer ran from the office and transformed into She-Hulk. Iron Man pursued her, and the two battled until Iron Man realized She-Hulk retained her intelligence unlike her male counterpart, Hulk. To prove her innocence, She-Hulk took Iron Man to the beach where she found She-Droid's head. Iron Man recognized the droid as one of his early prototypes, and realized that Jake Fox had delivered it to a criminal. Later, Nick Trask's thugs turn themselves in which freed Tony Stark's name. Jennifer then watched as Tony lied to Mrs. Fox about Jake's involvement and realized he was being compassionate.

- In The Super Hero Squad Show, it had been mentioned that She-Hulk is an old girlfriend of Iron Man, and in the episode "So Pretty When They Explode", she asked why he never called her again. And he made the excuse that he didn't want to date her anymore because her cousin is a member of his team.
